St. Ann's Parish 180 Samuel Blvd. Coppell, TX 75019.
Option Mass at 8am in the Parish Chapel, following mass, registration will take place in the assembly room, where we will have brunch and the morning with the sisters.

Nov. 5th-11 is National Vocation Week.... and so the Office of Vocations would like to invite Young women in the 10th-12th grade to join different religious sisters and consecrated women for mass, brunch, games and testimonies at St. Ann's Parish in Coppell. Come meet the sisters, here their stories and witness their Joy as a Bride of Christ in the world!

What is the Purpose of This Event?

The Vocation Discernment Weekend is an annual weekend of discernment for single, Catholic, men and women, between the ages of 18 and 40, who wish to find answers about whether they may be called to a religious vocation as a Priest, Brother, Sister, or Consecrated Lay Woman.

Weekend activities will be led by the Vocations Director of the Catholic Diocese of Dallas and one of the Vocations Liaisons of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth.

The Office of Vocation would like to invite you to the Annual Marian Dinner at the University of Dallas. Please join Fr. Edwin Leonard the Director of Vocations and  Religious Sisters and Consecrated Women of various communities to discover the happiness behind living a life dedicated to God. The Evening includes Mass, dinner, prayer, testimonies, and presentations on Vocations for Women.  

Where: University of Dallas, 1845 E. Northgate Dr. Irving, TX 75062

Parking : You can park in the Parking lot next to Clark Hall (Bldg. # 30), we begin with 6:30 mass in the Church of the Incarnation (Bldg # 7), following mass we will walk to Room #122 in the SB Hall (bldg. # 34) for the dinner and evening Program.

DISCERNMENT... HELPS US TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE TRUE, GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL DESIRES, GOD HAS ALREADY PLACED WITHIN OUR HEART!
This Weekend Retreat is for Young women 18-30 yrs. old, who are interested in learning how to Discern the Lord's Voice in Seeking His Path for their life. This retreat will focus on growing deeper in a personal relationship with God through prayer, and highlight the beauty of the Vocation to the Religious and Consecrated Life. Mass, Adoration, Confession and Spiritual Direction will also be available. Throughout the weekend, some Religious Sisters and Consecrated Women will share their own personal stories. There are only 15 spots available so please sign up asap!
(The cost of the Retreat is $25 - please bring Friday night when checking in.)

This evening is for young men between the grades 9th - 12th who would like to explore more about the priesthood. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Mass followed by a short program, dinner and a tour of the seminary. All youth from grades 8th – 12th are invited to attend this fun, faith, and joy filled weekend retreat celebrating our Catholic Faith. There will be great music, fellowship, talks, Mass, Adoration and more at this Eucharistic centered Retreat. Talks will be given by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.

Dallas Corpus Christi Procession

Join us on Saturday, June 17 as we celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi.  Eucharistic Procession will take place from Holy Trinity Catholic Church through the streets of Dallas with 4 altar stops along the way ending at the Cathedral downtown.  Two of the altar stops will be at Turtle Creek Park and Klyde Warren Park.  Check back in May for further details.

 SCHEDULE:

5:00 PM: Vigil Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church

6:00 PM: 2.5 miles procession from Holy Trinity Catholic Church to the Cathedral.

8:30 PM: Arrive at the Cathedral downtown

8:45 PM: Adoration & Confession begins

 FREE bus shuttles offered from the Cathedral back to Holy Trinity Church starting 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM
